Stadtwerke Bramsche GmbH, a customer-oriented multi-branch service company is putting its trust in the solution "Managed GeoServices" from SAG  CeGIT for the implementation of digital supported network management. Characteristic for this service model is, among others, the concentration of the company on the core tasks and the target-oriented use and analysis of the technical resources information, while the system design and system operation is the task of the service company for an agreed time period.

Under contract from Stadtwerke Bramsche GmbH, SAG CeGIT conceived the system and is implementing and operates the system SICAD-UT for the public utilities company in the service company's premises. Stadtwerke Bramsche uses the GISMobil system for the enquiry and analysis of the technical resources information.

The update of the enquiry and analysis system by the public services company from the central data management and maintenance system in SAG premises currently takes place offline, in line with the agreed mode, a change-over to the online update can take place at any time.

The economical design and operation of the system was of decisive importance during the conception and implementation of the task. Furthermore, the overall system should stand out through openness and easier adaptability to future requirements of Stadtwerke Bramsche.

A high acceptance of the solution by the users in Stadtwerke Bramsche' premises was also very important. This could be achieved through the use of an intuitive system, tailor-made for respective requirements, and target-oriented training courses.

The solution developed by CeGIT distinguishes itself through the high investment-security and the modular scalability for any increasing requirements occurring in the future. Standard products are used for data management as well as on the applications level so that the entire solution can be flexibly adapted to the future requirements of Stadtwerke Bramsche.

Oracle in conjunction is used as the database management system in conjunction with the network information system SICAD-UT from AED-SICAD AG. On the premises of Stadtwerke Bramsche GmbH, the GISMobil system from Infograph GmbH is responsible for the information and analysis tasks.
