MITGAS: Plant Technology for Gas Distribution
Natural gas is further on the advance as an environmentally-friendly fuel. In Peißen near Bernburg/Sachsen-Anhalt, SAG supplied the complete plant technology for one of the most modern gas transfer and pressure regulation stations in Germany. Under contract from the Mitteldeutschen Gasversorgung (MITGAS), SAG prefabricated the required steel tubes and shaped parts itself and subsequently at the site precise combined it precisely with instruments, pressure regulator valves and meters to an entire system.
