Electricity Supply Board: Network Refurbishment in Ireland
To maintain the usual supply reliability in the long-term, the Irish Electricity Supply Board has been modernising its entire medium-voltage network in recent years. SAG participated in logistically-demanding project with a "Frame Work Contract" over 2 200 kilometres. The full-service concerned the replacement of wooden pylons, cables, instruments, insulators and transformers. In addition the main lines were converted from 10 to 20 kV to improve the network stability.
