In ground water works and dams, drinking water is treated for 1.5 million people. Thanks to the know-how of SAG, it definitely gets to where it\'s needed.

The smooth and reliable operation of a 500 km long network of piping for the supply of drinking water to around 70 cities and communities is not just a question of technical infrastructure, but also of intelligent management. To monitor the piping systems and the flow into waterworks as well as the flow into and out of elevated tanks, SAG installed the modern network management system IDS HIGH-LEIT.

Transmission channels, telecontrol stations and remote stations were fitted with the latest technology. Front-end computers, servers as well as operating and monitoring computers were set up at the headquarters as separate module components.

Data from the control centre is supplied via web servers in the office network. So that the corresponding operators at the 25 substations are given tailor-made access to the information relevant to them, a complex client function with password control was set up.
