With the acquisition of two companies in Poland and Slovakia, SAG is taking another important step in expanding its role as the leading service provider for energy infrastructures in Europe. At the end of September, Elcon Elbud S.A. joined the SAG Group in Poland. Last week, contracts were signed which will mean that Elektrovod Holding, a.s. in Slovakia can become part of the company group. This still needs to be approved by the cartel authorities.

Both companies are active in the field of energy infrastructures. The main focuses are on planning, delivery, setup, maintenance of relay stations, switching systems and high voltage power lines.

"We will quickly integrate Elektrovod and Elcon Elbud so that the existing synergy potential can be used. Both companies are very well-positioned on their respective markets and complement the SAG Group perfectly" explains the Chairman of the SAG Management Board, Karl-Michael Fuhr.
